Filkemp Sign GoPrint3D to Distribute Sustainable 3D Printing Filament in the UK
Filkemp SA is pleased to announce a distribution partnership with GoPrint3D. GoPrint3D will market, stock, and distribute filaments for Filkemp (Portugal) to customers in the UK.
Filkemp have developed a sustainably produced material called PLA-N which offers incredible mechanical advantages over standard PLA. PLA-N has been successfully adopted in automotive and moulding industry and many other industrial companies, quickly replacing ABS, as the main material used for printing.
Vokswagen Autoeuropa, Filkemp’s and Ultimaker case study, won the TCT Automotive Product Application Award 2017, for Custom Tools.

GoPrint3D carried out testing on PLA-N and found that it offered up to 27% more torsional strength and 20% more flexural strength than leading brands of PLA. It also printed well at recommended settings with an excellent surface finish.
